As the subjective meaning of the industrial zones is a source for many arguments, I use the definition of Zones as a metaphor to describe an object with a manipulative tendency. The visual form of the Zones are the same from the outside, yet can be represented with having both positive and negative qualities, depending on their context and location. Does the openness of today’s people make them more susceptible to manipulation?

So far the continuously ongoing project is represented by an interactive map at www.marjelen.com/zona plus several photos and videos.
